Hasn't aged well

I listened to this so you don't have to. This book was written in 2009 and it shows. I sometimes listen to 'dark' romance, but the seemingly benign misogynist undertone of this series is very cringy. People, like me, who were raised in pre-MeToo culture might just shrug the cringy behaviour off, but I strongly advise you not to recommend it to anyone of a younger (healthier) generation.
