Story
Paksenarrion was the finest paladin her world would ever see. But Paksenarrion could never have become a fighter at all had it not been for he who had come before: Gird, the liberator, who taught his people that they could fight - and win - against their Mage-born rulers. And after Gird came one more: Luap, Gird's sworn follower and the king's half-breed bastard. Riven by internal conflict, Luap dare not lie and cannot tell the truth, nor face the future.

One of the Greatest Tales
Paksenarrion is a hero akin to Aragorn and the other greats of high fantasy. This series is an excellent collection of adventures with a host of strong characters. A must read for Fantasy Lovers

one of the best fantasy novels ever
if you've ever been curious about what life would really be like for a paladin, this is the book for you.
The world is very well built and flushed out. things don't always turn out how the reader wishes they might, but that just adds to the quality of the book.

Wonderful book.
One of my favourites. Terrible reader though. One of the most feminist stories yet the the whole creative team was male. Bad production,

A fine ending to the Trilogy
While the first book remains the best in the series I found this one actually made me like book 2 more as it put the larger story in context.

Completing her Quest
I love Paks, and the fact that she's finally completing her mission. There's one scene of torture and sexual abuse so if you cannot handle these topics, you may want to skip or continue with caution at the end of the book. #Audible1
