Excellent blend of fantasy and folklore with light horror elements
MR Carey does it again. If you liked The Book of Koli or the Pandominion, then you'll probably like this too, even though the genre/setting differs from his other works. And again, they've managed to pair this book with the perfect narrator for it. Great pacing, gravitas, accents, and voices to complement the author's writing. I breezed through this one in a couple days and I'm already looking forward to re-listening. Brilliant stuff.
