Publisher's Summary

Peter Lynch, one of the most successful investors of all time, shows you how to use what you already know to make money in the market. You'll discover why smart money is not so smart - and why you may be a better stock picker than the pros, how to follow your hunches and back them up with facts, how to disregard reports on the economy and pick your own time to buy and sell, and how to determine which types of stocks are right for you. Lynch is the former manager of the $9 billion Fidelity Magellan Fund, where he earned investors a $190,000 return on a $10,000 investment.

Great book, audiobook needs better enunciation.

This book is a must for any aspiring investor.

The audio needs work. Most of the time, Peter Lynch speaks clearly and is easy to listen to. But he has a mumble streak and tends to quietly pronounce certain words. I find myself hitting rewind and lowering the speed to try to figure out what word he used. It's an ongoing process.

Good, but a bit dated

Good, relevant and still some tried and true methods and logic that can be applied to today. However, there's references to business and ideas which aren't as relevant or current to today.

No storytelling but best straightforward book!

Even though sample companies has been outdated in the book but I literally say that's one of the best and straightforward book on value investing. Definitely, Everyone should have their own investing style So do Peter Lynch. Peter did amazing job by highlighting his investment style but this was actually the value investing. Clear, concise, and customer obsession on peak. It clarified so many doubts that we come across on daily basis while live in the market. It's no doubt that most important aspect of a good company is high earnings and good assets compared to debt, Peter has given numerous thoughts for food in the book. Highly recommended as literally book gave extensive knowledge moreover confidence to overcome stress while I see volatility in my portfolio. Call it a cheat sheet full of facts. Amazing job Peter!
