It could have been so much better

The story line was cute but the way it was written was so cheesy - good performances but the writing was terrible.

It’s ok

Maybe it’s just a bit too much on the short/fast side to be good?
I also enjoyed Jason Clarke as a narrator in other books, but in this one it just didn’t seem to work. It’s like he had no emotion and wasn’t clicking with Andi.

This was a fun surprise!

It was my first audiobook where there was multiple narrators and music/sounds in the background. I felt more apart of the story and performance because of those aspects.

If you’re looking for a short listen based in Hawaii, I’d suggest listening to this! It’s a great break away from reality. Especially with Jakobi Diem, I feel like I’d listen to anything that man is on (kinda wish he had a bigger part so I could listen to him longer 🥲).

Cheesy and cute

This was so cheesy, I think I needed this at the moment.

Love all the different narrators. All were amazing together. The background noise were different as well. Not sure if I liked them or not, but was a nice change.

This was just fun to listen to.

Love the format of this audiobook

The narration team on this book is like the Superbowl Fantasy Football team for Audiobooks! Having sound affects and different people speaking for each character puts this book over the top. The story is cute and funny. It is a quick listen great if you want to finish a complete story and only have a little time.

Ok, but I prefer full length Lauren Blakely story

Loved the narrators! Having a cast is fantastic.

Would have liked the story flushed out a bit more. It was a little hard to follow as it was all "speaking" with no narration or descriptions for context. However, that is to be expected as it is a short story I suppose.

I do really like Lauren Blakely, but I think I prefer the description, build up and full characterization that you get in her full length novels.

Not what I expected

This book was short and probably a good thing. I had a hard time following it right from the beginning. It started without any character introductions. There’s conversations being had via a device. Cell phone or laptop and you don’t know who is who. A lot of voices and the story seemed rushed. I was not a fan of this one
