This is the second book in this series that I have read. As I did with the first, I enjoyed this book via the audiobook experience. The narrator’s performance is enjoyable to listen to. There are many characters, worlds, terms, powers and traditions that make up the world the author created. It took me a while to get familiar with it all, and by the time I reached the end of book two, I found myself looking forward to starting book three. Book two didn’t have as much adventure and seemed to focus more on love and relationships. This will surely be pleasing to many readers of romance. I like the dynamics between Kaden, his brother and Abby and I assume there will be further developments in book three no doubt. All in all, this is a well-crafted story, and it is rich in detail. I commend the author for her creative work, and I look forward to reading book three.
