Publisher's Summary

Eight months ago, I was a naive, small-town farm girl nursing a shattered heart. Then hotel billionaire Henry Wolf picked me up off the ground (literally), and my entire life changed.

Now, I live in a luxurious Manhattan penthouse, and I'm starting my first company while planning a beautiful wedding to the man of my dreams.

I knew these first months would bring plenty of drama. I expected the savage media attention surrounding our engagement, and I braced myself for Mama's theatrics about the wedding.

But nothing could have prepared me for the big secret that just stormed through our front door, altering the course of our future.

Contains mature themes.

This cannot be the end

I know this is said to be the last book in the series. But I love these characters! I want to see them have their own child together and watch Henry navigate fatherhood right from the beginning. Henry changed so much in the series. He started as cold and cunning and a complete workaholic to a kind caring person, still a workaholic and still an Ahole at times but his heart really showed in this last book. Less of the book was about work. That perhaps was just how the book was written or he was working less and making more time for his family. I would love to see them be parents. Abby would make a great mother and I think fatherhood would change Henry more as a character( even more then he did in this book). Please consider another book or maybe even a short story.

Need a different narrator

I read the other books on my kindle and loved them. this one wasn’t my favourite but I think it’s because of the ladies voices, it annoyed me. I feel like she ruined some of the characters for me.

Great - Different Narrator?

Story was great and on par with the first 4, but there were strange glitches in the narration. There were instances when the original narrator would come through.
Sample first 👍

Dual Narration Needed

Books with dual POV or a lot of talking from both characters need multiple narrators. The female doing a male voice just… isn’t it.

Not the same narrator. but good story

it is super disappointing that it's not the same reader. it's a complete difference voice, accent, and rhythm. specially the accent the foreign character. other then the performance, the story itself is very good!!! just with one audio book is very disappointing.

Change in Narrator - didn't love as much as first 4

I loved the first books in this series, not sure this one was needed. There is no way this is the same narrator as the first 4, her voice and how she reads is not the same at all. Had a hard time listening after the first 4.

So good!

My only complaint is it wasn’t long enough! Wanted more. The writer is brilliant and the narrator on point.

Is that it?

I’m not sure if this is the last book or not. It doesn’t feel like it should be, it feels very unfinished. It was still good, but left a lot hanging. If this is the final one, then I am a bit disappointed. Storyline aside, this book has a bit of a different feel due to a change in the narrator’s voice. The narrator is still amazing and brilliantly does a multitude of different characters, but this final book is not consistent with the others. I’m not too sure how many years apart this audio recording was from the previous ones (the others all sounded the same), but the narrator sounds older and her voice is much huskier/raspier now than before. Which makes Abby sound significantly older than a 22 year old. The change affects all the characters, but I found it most difficult to get used to with Abby. In previous books Abby sounds sweet and fresh. Her voice is sweet, her personality is kind, down to earth and sincere. In this book the narrator not only sounds different, but portrays Abby in a more assertive way with a brashness in her tone. At times Abby almost comes across as petulant. It was a difficult adjustment from the other books. I still liked the book, although it was a bit lackluster if this is the conclusion.
