Publisher's Summary

After surviving childhood at the snooty, stuck-up boarding school for budding omegas, I have everyone convinced I'm a dud.

My awakening? Never gonna happen. Heat, mates, and a fairytale pack life? Maybe next reincarnation. All I want is to be left alone.

I'm invisible, and headed to a blissful solo future until the Wyvern Pack destroys my dream of independence. But Atlas, Hunter, Finn, Jett, and Orion are poison candy. They don't want an omega, but they need one, even if there will never be a real spot for me in their pack.

Who needs a pack? I’ll keep myself safe, same as always. I'll never awaken, and I'll never ever give the Wyverns my heart...because all they'll do is rip me apart.

This book contains a slow burn, high heat, and growly alpha males. It's intended for mature listeners due to MM content, frequent cursing, and references to past assault that may be disturbing. The author not responsible for any ugly crying.

Loved it

These narrator’s really brought the characters to life and the story ran smoothly. I loved this as a book I read and Lola really picked the right voices for this book. I could listen to them for hours and did! Would highly recommend, cannot wait for part 2!

Captivating

I was hooked after a few chapters. The man narrator’s voice took a little getting used to to but all in all, strongly recommend.

I can see why it's been so well rated.

Lost so much sleep listening to this book. It's so good, and even has some funny commentary.
Performance was fantastic. Very easy to distinguish which character is speaking even just by that chapter announcement.

Second book is very steamy!

so freaking awesome

Loved everything About it.
Was so great to hear a man's voice for the male parts especially a deep sexy one.
the female voice in my opinion was picked perfect for the lead because she wasn't high and breathy.
Deeper female voices sound sexier to me. The story was so very good with how powerful the female seemed to be and knows how to control herself. I can't wait to finish part 2!!!!!!!!

Oh

Starters As always

🙌MULTI POV 🙌

I'm so obsessed with omegaverses right now but make it a  why choose romance !? AND A SLOW BURN!  Yes please !
When I tell you I ate up book up.

Haha gooble gobble.

So our FMC, Lilah lives at a boarding school for omegas who are pretty much groomed to be the perfect Omega for packs. But our FMC doesn't want any of that.

Nope, she doesn't want a pack, she just wants to live life in the shadows going un-noticed and will do anything to keep it that way. And has done a really good job at doing so, until her luck runs out and she is basically promised to the Wyvern Pack.

Our MMCs  from pack Wyvern well let's say they are all fabulous.

Every
Single
One
Of
them

But there's just one tiny little problem. They also don't want a omega.

Currently My fave MMC is Orion.

He is honestly the sweetest most loveable MMC and whenever he had a POV I got so excited.
I do adore Hunter.
I feel like Jett will weasle into my heart some how and end up being my fave
I don't really care for Atlis right now lol and Finn is the trouble maker to keep things exciting.

I would say this is definitely a slow burn but the spice that is in here is pretty good.
There's also some action which is always fun and keeps things exciting

The writing was well done and I ended up getting lost into the story and was able to feel deep emotions while reading. My heart hurt for characters, I got the ick with others, I also laughed out loud a few times.

I really enjoyed the FMCs inner dialog kind of reminded me of myself a few times which was great.

I did/do have a few plot theories and I'm curious to see if I'm correct at all and will come back at the end off book 2.

Also,  that ending though
oh my God

When I tell you I had to get the second book right away I never checked out to cart so fast in my life
I can't wait to see what happens in book 2.

Lilah Darling is an unusual Omega in the sense that she is not looking for a pack. She just wants to be left alone so she can live happily ever after with herself. For the past years, Lilah's ultimate goal has been to be bland and ordinary so she does not attract the attention of a pack. Too bad that she gets threatened into accepting an offer from the Wyvern pack. The only problem is: they already have a male omega and don't want Lilah to be part of their life, which ends up not being that much of a problem since Lilah only wants to get away from them and live on her own. Of course, things get messier when hormones and feelings get thrown in the mix.

I would say that this could be described as a kind of bully romance since the 4 alphas are jerks to Lilah, but at the same time, she is strong, fierce, and does not give a shit about them so she just lets them say their shit and ignore them... Until she starts to care about them of course. Lilah is an awesome MC. She is a little submissive, as are all omegas, but she is not weak. At all. She stands up for herself, takes care of herself, and does not rely on anyone. She is determined, fierce, and very resourceful, and I really like her.

Atlas is the leader of the pack, he is the typical alpha, nothing more to add. Jett has a past with Lilah, and because of that, he wants her to leave their life even more than the others do.

Finn is a dark and slightly deranged character who takes his pleasure out of killing people and having sex with sexy girls. He sees Lilah as a pretty toy and nothing more (at first), but at least he treated her like she mattered a little bit (even if it was only because he wanted to have sex with her) and not like she was trash. Hunter is like the mother hen of the group, he cares for Lilah and tries to make her feel better. He makes sure that she has food and everything she needs, even though they all know she is not there to stay.

Finally, there is Orion. Sweet, kind, caring, perfect omega Orion. I love him SO MUCH. He started as an ass because he felt threatened by the new omega, but ended up becoming her friend and being such a sweetheart! I am in love with him and whatever happens in the next book, I just hope that he and Lilah end up happy together because they clearly belong together.

The relationship between Lilah and Orion and both their character's development was definitely the most interesting part of the book. The author did a great job with that and I could really feel Orion's sadness, Lilah's depressed state, but also their growing connection and their need for each other.

I like that the 4 alphas (Atlas, Jett, Finn, and Hunter) were all different with different personalities, but even if I like them, a part of me was so annoyed with their shitty behavior. Even though they don't want another omega, shouldn't their instinct tell them that they had to protect this tiny scarred omega? At the same time, their attitude created such drama and angst near the end of the book, I cannot complain because I LOVE angst, and I can't wait to see how they will have to grovel to be forgiven in the next book.

The ending is heartwrenching and I wanted to scream at the stupid alpha... But then I remembered that I was a sucker for angst so I just sat down and enjoyed it. I hope she will have them begging on their knees, except Orion because he's a sweetheart and did nothing wrong. I'm also curious to see how Lilah's fiery temper will mix with her hormones and her obvious attraction to the Wyvern pack and to Orion. I am hoping for a HEA, but I am also hoping for more angst and struggle before we get there.

Absolutely loved this book. Lilah is sassy, loving, and strong. Can't wait to listen to part two for the guys to grovel for her forgiveness.
