the characters are very interesting and the world has a lot of potential. I'm curious what happened in the past to leave it in the state it was in at the beginning of the book. I look forward to reading more of the series

Loved the characters, strong but not arrogant. Excellent world building without to much discussion to the point of boredom.

Not terrible. Too long and a bit to much explained to the reader. I’m guessing first or early work of author?

Liked the main character. Somewhat frustrating how they seem to cause half their own problems, but she has a character flaw that is well established and got me pulled into the story.

I WAS really enjoying the book. Until suddenly there’s a XXX scene. Kinda out of nowhere. Then the book resumes but it kinda lost its cohesiveness. Until the 2nd XXX scene. It ends ok, but the NSFW has put me off anything by this author or narrator and now I can’t recommend this to my friends or family.

Cool story but NSFW and ruined because of it.
