About this listen
Warning: This book may cause drowsiness. Peaceful Tales, Volume 2 - three more lighthearted stories that were written specifically to help you fall gently to sleep. After listening to the first volume myself, nearly every night for well over a year, I decided I needed some new stories to read and listen to. I wanted the second volume to have a deeper spiritual aspect. I'm not talking religion - just something touching more on the unseen, the intangible - looking behind the curtain at the mysteries of life and the possible alternative realities of existence.
These are still very simple, peaceful tales written purposely without conflict so as not to create any tension in your mind or body. I still think of these tales as "mini vacations for the mind".
Peaceful Tales is written in the present tense so you can allow yourself to be the main character in each and every story. It's important. Let your imagination work for you instead of against you. That way your overly busy brain will connect more with each tale and help transport you to a place where everyone gets exactly the amount of sleep they need, wakes up refreshed each morning, and feels ready and excited to greet the day.
There are points during the stories where I'll slow it down and give you an even greater opportunity to concentrate on your breathing, to relax, and drift off. Since it's the entire point of these stories, just go right ahead. It's okay. The story will still be here for you whenever you need it. Don't feel like you have to finish it all at once because falling asleep is the whole point. Keep in mind - no worries.
