Repititive, overly long.

This book could be much shorter and still cover the story. Narrator did a good job of all the voices.

Ok, passed the time

I found this a story that tells more of an author lacking in research and imagination. A rushed ride through a rich country of opportunity ignoring details that break the illusion. For example, the main characters in the story spend almost no time or effort doing common everyday things like hunting, or working the resultant materials. Neither is there any history on, or their relationship with, their belief systems and lifestyle. Disappointing for this fan of prehistoric fiction.

New series

New series started. Enjoyed the first book, looking forward to the next 3 that I have downloaded. I think that I will be sorry that Audible doesn't have the whole series done.

A challenge at first...

The varying storyline and main character names that were simular made it a challenge to follow in an audio book for the first third but once characters names were learned, it gets better.

Oh dear:

This author's work is disjointed, poorly written and difficult to follow. The story line, what little there appears to be, is shallow and not really worth trying to read. Save your money and get s better read ...

Jumping story line

The story jumped around a lot. Would need pen and paper to keep track of who’s who.

thought I'd like it but didn't

I've read many other series in this genre and I almost always enjoy them. I should have gotten sucked into this story but just couldn't. In all truth, I got 3/4 of the way through it and couldn't finish. The story was choppy and slowly.
