About this listen
T. M. Frazier, USA Today best-selling author of the King series, brings you a new trilogy with an anti-hero you're going to love to hate and a ballsy heroine with more than just tricks up her sleeve.
Love is supposed to be magical.
Ours is suicide.
The first time I met Emma Jean Parish she conned me into taking her p*ssy. Her cat.
When she was 16 she conned me into her first kiss.
At 18 she gave me everything.
She's a con artist. I'm a criminal. I use her. She manipulates me.
Our attraction is explosive. What we have can be forever. If we survive the detonation.
Contains mature themes.

potential
while this is a very good and tough story the pacing was a little slow for the ground covered. Aiden Snow was spectacular as usual but Miss Wyles was harder to hear when grinding out her male voices. I would have read the whole series but I will not because oh this, sorry to be harsh but I do not have the choice of reading without audio so voices are critical.

Beautiful Relationship!
This was a great story. I disagree with the complaints against the FL voice actor, her male voice is no better or worse than the hundreds of other dual readings. I’ve heard bad ones and this is not one.
The story is really good, no over the top, long winded drama. I adore love stories that begin when the MC are young.
It’s pretty rough in parts but handled tastefully.
Could it be better? Yes, could have more depth throughout but it’s still really good.

This was a hard listen
Finding the right narrator is crucial to the telling of any story. Unfortunately in this case, the female voice was unemotional, slow and childlike. The male voice was raspy and great, but I found myself skipping over EJ’s part or listening at 1.7 speed just to get past it. I’ve never left a review and don’t mean to be negative or critical, but this could have been so much better. Having just finished the King series, which was so well portrayed, this listen was a big disappointment.
