About this listen

Book three in the Plain & Simple series takes place around the wedding of Ruth and Seth. However, you do not need to have listened to the prior Plain & Simple audiobooks to enjoy this story.

Ruth and Seth are finally getting married. As they make their preparations, David, Ruth's older brother, is coming to the realization that he is ready to settle down himself. He has been putting off any thought of marriage for a long time. It's not that there isn't anyone eligible, but that he's had his eye on one sweet girl, Esther, but never found the courage to ask her to go courting. When Ruth mentions that Esther's family is thinking about moving to another community in another state, he realizes that he can't let her go without letting her know how he feels about her. He asks her for a buggy ride and things take off from there. Esther will eventually have to choose between her family and the love she has for David, which is only just beginning to bloom. With Ruth and Seth starting their family life together as husband and wife, will David have the same happy ending?
