Publisher's Summary
Recognized from her roles on Survivor, The View, and Fox & Friends, celebrity Elisabeth Hasselbeck presents a deeply intimate journey of faith, told through the important moments in her life.
"Point of view", by definition, is a particular attitude or way of considering a matter. Through her nearly two decades of broadcasting, Elisabeth learned the necessity of extracting the point of view of the person being interviewed on a particular topic or subject or experience. Doing so allows you to see issues and truths through another's eyes. It requires a shift in perspective to see the story through their lens.
In this illuminating audiobook, Elisabeth walks through the times - from her national celebrity days to her newest role as CBO (chief breakfast officer) - where she saw something differently than how God wanted her to, and the path back to his point of view was sometimes rocky but always revealing. Sometimes, God's intentions for her were clear, yet other times, she encountered situations so uncomfortable and blurry that she could only ask for his wisdom.
In this audiobook, Elisabeth welcomes you into the many different, and often divergent, points of view she has witnessed and learned from along the way. It is a journey that brought her to the ultimate point of view she discovered in the Word of God - that until she sees herself as he sees her, she is not seeing at all.
As you listen through the stories here, she invites you to make the same discovery for yourself.
What the critics say
"Elisabeth has captivated me - as she has most of America - from the beginning of her public life on Survivor, through her days on The View, and in her classy, intelligent presence on Fox & Friends. While this book chronicles details and events throughout her life, including those public forums, the thread of her faith and her commitment to Christ through all of those seasons inspires me like crazy.” (Sandra Stanley, North Point Ministries, speaker and author)
“God has given Elisabeth this platform to share many of her stories so the rest of us can be inspired by her dreams, courage, endurance, tenacity, vulnerability, transparency, and most of all, dependence on her creator. She shows us how to make the absolute most of every single opportunity but is also humble enough to accept when God is gently guiding her into an entirely different realm of life. Thank you, Elisabeth, for encouraging us to go full force after our dreams, all while staying in His will.” (Missy Robertson, star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty and New York Times best-selling author)
“I have been blessed to know Elisabeth since she first arrived in New York City to work on The View. We have talked honestly together, prayed earnestly together, and cried vulnerably together. To know her is to love her. Her view will inspire you to trust for God’s best in your life, to look each morning to His light to guide your way, and to stay joyfully on the unique path He has for you. In Point of View, you will learn to live, love, and leave well.” (Kathie Lee Gifford, co-host of Today’s fourth hour)

life lessons
Lots of life lessons revealed in this book, especially if you are or were a career chasing woman.
I found it a bit slow in parts but overall worthy of a listen!

Hidden Gem!
I have never written a review for anything before but the limited reviews on this hidden gem of a book prompted me to do so. This book had me in tears by chapter two and didn’t stop there. It is an incredible and relatable collection of events from the author and how God is there through it all. Elizabeth has beautifully captured how God is at work in us and in those around us. I will surely be listening to this book again!
