About this listen

Perhaps the most important book in philosophy after the Allegory of the Cave. Incomparable logic and findings about the things that matter in life with a clear succinct prose touch.

Accessible Aristotle, not much else

If the Politics is required reading for you and you would like an audio recording to supplement the text, this is a very serviceable recording. The narrator does a decent job of what sounds like a first reading, could have used some editing or a least better recording software, lots of background noises and errors in reading, though it’s all pretty forgivable if you are following along with the text. I recommend listening at 1.5 or 2 times speed, much more bearable. Also, I’m not sure how the philosopher himself would have get about the background music choice, as he was iffy on flutes, I suspect the techno music would have left him scratching his head. Odd choice.
