About this listen
It's way more than just a game!
PerfectQuestion is back! He's running and gunning his way across an incredible civilization-building game set on Mars. But this time he's employed as an online ringer for a corrupt dictatorship and trying to avoid getting "disappeared" in a reckless world of intrigue, epic parties, sports cars, and women who are as dangerous as they are beautiful.
Five million in gold says he can do it and put the next Sultan on the throne by leading a rag-tag clan of gaming jihadis to victory, but revolution and revolt are afoot. The long knives are out in Calistan for the hero of Soda Pop Soldier and anyone else who gets in a murderous prince's way.

Come for the gaming, stay for the food description
The "queer/transphobic" part the other two "reviews" are complaining about is a very minor Opfor guild based on woke marvel fans, and the political ideological nonsense they been pushing and nothing to do about actual discrimination against trans/queer,
completely ignoring the fact that the MC is working for the "bad guys" and there are significantly worst issues and problems happening in the book.
Listening to the parts with food is gonna make you absolutely hungry.
The only thing that sucks is the ending, this storey is a tragedy and there probably isn't gonna be more.

Queerphobic hate masked as science fiction.
Although well written and perform Pop Kult Warlord is riddled with queerphobic ideology that has no place in modern literature. The series started out strong but by the second book degraded into hate speech disguised as a video game.

Pathetic...
The author vomits into words his clear contempt for marginalized communities and belief that a society of people who can respect each other must be anti-freedom and will lead to the downfall of the hateful world he holds so dear. Really suckered me in with the first book in series. Props where they are due; it's well written, and the sci-fi is interesting. SUCH A LET DOWN
