'Buy my program' book... but the program is great!
The book is an infomercial for DDPYoga but that doesn't make it a bad thing. It's a good book and a great program thats helped a lot of people... recommend

An Unexpected Gem
I admit that I took a flyer on this one, what the heck could a middle-aged woman like me learn from a wrestler? How about some solid advice, and practical - doable - actions anyone can take. Wrapped up in some good old storytelling and you've got a winner of a listen (read). Now excuse me while I go put in the work!

Very good!
I really enjoyed this listen! It was perfect timing as I started the DDPY program 2 weeks ago. I have nothing but great things to say about all of it!
I would have preferred to hear DDP read the whole thing (there was nothing wrong with the narrator, he was good) I just love the passion and excitement in DDP’s voice.

Great book - just get past the narrator’s voice
Inspiring and encouraging. DDP’s story is truly a triumph and an example of how one person can change so many lives. And I’m not even a wrestling fan. I’m a DDPY fan.

If your planning to follow DDPY
Worth the listen to help get your head thinking about changes beside exercises. The narration is given alot of hate but you get use to it, plus it did have some amusing back stage stories.

I really tried to like this audiobook, but ...
I don't know what was more irritating, the narrator sounding like he was trying to imitate DDP's voice or the cover to cover infomercial for DDP Yoga.
I bought the DDPY DVDs years ago and yes I like them, so I was really hoping this audiobook would be something beyond that, with some added value.
But listening to what to me seemed like a non stop infomercial for something I already owned disguised as a book with additional substance (there was none) really irked me.

Felt like a 5 and a half hour DDP informercial
first of all, the book was not narrated by diamond Dallas Page. The narrator tried to imitate Dallas's voice for the entire read and I couldn't finish the book because of it. I just couldn't.
to top it off I have been following DDP for years and was really hoping that this book was going to expand on what he had already discussed during lectures online. I have also practiced TDP for a couple of years as I own the DVDs. I feel like I bought something that I had already paid for 2 years ago. like I said I couldn't finish the end of the book because it was a five and a half hour long DDP infomercial and quite frankly I already bought DDP yoga.
This book would have been so much better if Dallas had of just read the narration himself instead of some half-assed narrator that the book company hired. all I can say is I'm glad this book was free with my trial of audible...
