A brilliant collection

A fabulous historian, brilliant observer and level thinker is the genius Barbara W. Tuchman. This collection is a boon to my existence.

Intelligent and fascinating

Tuchman is a great historian and she combines that with excellent writing skills. This book includes some of her views on how to be a good history writer and some excerpts of some fascinating things she uncovered with her primary research. Really enjoyed it!

Tuchman explains her life and history as a writer of history.

For anyone who is an admirer of Barbara Tuchman the historian this is an insightful look at her methodology.
