About this listen

Recalled from the Great Crusade after Ullanor, Rogal Dorn and the VIIth Legion were appointed as the Emperor's praetorians - but only after the Warmaster's treachery was revealed did the full extent of that sacred duty become apparent.

Now, the Solar System comes under attack for the first time since the war began, and many of the seemingly impregnable defences wrought by the Imperial Fists prove inadequate. With all eyes fixed firmly upon this new threat beyond the gates of Terra, who in turn will protect Dorn from the enemy within?

The Hydra Strikes!

In a way, the Alpha Legion embodies the truest elements of a Space Marine legion fighting tens of thousands of years in the future. They use impressive technology, subterfuge, espionnage, and sabotage to accomplish their goals in the most practical and efficient way possible. All outcomes are accounted for, and there is anyways a plan B. Long live the Hydra!

Alpha to Omega

Can't get enough of the Alpha Legion and, as one might expect, this book poses more questions than it answers. Hydra Dominatus.

Good Horus Heresy story about Impérial fists ans alpha légion

Interesting story, IT was Nice to LEARN moré about the Alpha légion, the most mysterious Space marine légion. Rogal Dorn is an interesting character.

Lots of characters, a bit hard to follow sometimes.

Up there with Flight of The Eisenstein

I really appreciate that Rogal Dorn and Alpharius (&Omegon) Were well written and represented. The Action and Story are in perfect proportions and Jonathan Keeble was outstanding as always. Highly recommend to everyone!

Sneaky novel

I thought I was about to listen to an imperial fist (which I find boring as hell) novel, but was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was an alpha legion book in disguise

Fantastic stuff.

Fantastic performance. The second act is a bit slow, and certain action sequences echo each other, but the climax is absolutely phenomenal and emotional. Leaves a lot of questions to be asked about what really transpired. 9/10.

Excellent Change of Pace

If you’ve stuck with the Horus Heresy this far, you may feel that you’ve moved well past your favourites - welcome to the turning point. Unique story line on a front untouched thus far (well kind of touched on but not the way we wanted it to be), Terra. A storyline true to the characters natures.
