About this listen
Humanity stands at the brink of extinction.
Earth has been bombarded by forces beyond our understanding.
In the aftermath, monsters rule the Earth while humanity is forced into a few small safe zones, but not all is lost.
When the shadows fell, so too did hope. Progentitor rays birthed a new breed of humans, known as supers. Now those few are all that stands between mankind and death upon the claws and fangs of monsters.

sol interresting
Loved it. Even took my attention away from netflix.
Personnaly would prefer if the main hero upgraded slower to discover his and hers new habilities one or two at à time. A little too much stats. For exemple agility and dexterity could be combined.
Love the relation with demi. wish inferna didnt loose her bitchy personnality, at least not this easily. Let him sweat!
Could comment more but download of book 2 is complete... see ya 😋

Would continue with the series
I thought that the premise of the MC was a little rushed. Though the story does explain that bit still believe it is rushed. Way too many stats with the same disclaimer every time is a little boring. However overall did enjoy the story and narrater.

Good
First the preview or sample is badly chosen. The audiobook is way better that it seems. The start is slow and get better around 2/3 of the story. I will buy the next book.

Tried to like this but it was pretty cringe inducing.
like that first 2 book but by book three it became way to much.
The dialogue becomes increasingly cringe worthy to the point that I wish I could return them. I kept listening hoping that the story would develope but it's nothing but rinse and repeat. Council says no, guy fights back then inevitably caves which doesn't even matter because he just does what he wants anyway.
AND HOLY CRAP THE DIALOGUE! My god it's like somebody google "How to manipulate someone 101 (But I'm super hot)".
Would not recommend.

I wanted to like this
Prism Academy began as a gripping book with a likeable character in an interesting world. There's a valid reason to form a harem, and the main character is thrust into not only power, but also a challenging mystery.
And then it went downhill.
The main character is just too overpowered. As the world's only Prism for hundreds of years, he is idolized by the government, other superheroes, and the public. Yes, they all have their own agendas for him, but that's not very satisfying because not only do they mainly want him to have sex with beautiful women, but they ALSO fold like a house of cards whenever the main character digs his heels in even a little. The main character is physically perfect and sexually attractive beyond the dreams of a sex symbol. Every man in the series is two dimensional except the main character, and every single woman mentioned lusts after him. Even the confirmed lesbian, who is clearly being worn down by his respect for her sexuality and is about to throw herself at him in the next book. Even the woman who helped change his diapers talks about how sexy he is. He wins every argument with logic, changing people's hearts and minds. And everyone who opposes him turns out to be both weak and stupid.
There's an intriguing plot going on, but it's just not enough to keep going in this series. I accept a fair bit of wish fulfillment in any harem book, but this is too much, too fast.
