About this listen
This book analyzes a famous photograph that was taken during World War II of four American soldiers raising the flag on Iwo Jima and a 21st-century digitized image. This digital image replaces the flag with an oil rig and creates one of the best images in regards to human rights and protecting against the war. This artwork symbolized the defeat of Germany and serves a purpose when being recreated to show the state of the war we have been in since the beginning of the 21st century: the war of oil. I have an associate's in business management technology and currently possess a bachelor's degree in business administration from Tiffin University. This essay was written for a junior-level art class.
