About this listen
You have two options. You die, or you Qualify.
Sixteen-year-old Gwenevere Lark is determined not only to Qualify but to rescue her entire family.
If you are good enough to Qualify, you are eligible to compete in the brutal games of the Atlantis Grail, which grants all winners the laurels, high-tech luxuries, and full privileges of Atlantis citizenship. And if you are in the Top 10, then all your wildest wishes are granted...such as curing your mother's cancer.
There is only one problem. Gwen Lark is known as a klutz and a nerd. While she's a hotshot in classics, history, science, and languages, the closest she's come to sports is a backyard pool and a skateboard.
This time she is in over her head, and in for a fight of her life, against impossible odds and world-class competition - including Logan Sangre, the most amazing guy in her school, the one she's been crushing on, and who doesn't seem to know she exists.
Because every other teen on earth has the same idea.
You Qualify, or you die.

Worth listening to
I quite enjoyed the book. Kinda a rip off of hunger games but I will listen to the next one hopefully it changes course a bit. Cuz if I had the chose, hunger games wins hands down so far

Love this book
I love this book and it was cool to listen to it instead of just reading it. I thought the voice actor sounded a little too old to be Gwen at first, but I felt she really nailed Gwen's personality.

Loved it
I’ve been looking for hunger games kind of stories and this did not let me down! I love the end of world and space twist added to the story. Narration could have been better, but still it didn’t ruin it for me. Quite enjoyed the book.

Not bad
I find the narration sounds robotic half the time, as though Siri is reading to me. Some moments are drawn out too long and seems unnecessary, areas that don’t feel like they contribute much. The story is not terrible though, interesting idea behind Atlantis lore

Mindless cliché tropes
Cannot make it through the second chapter without laughing at absurdity of the writing and abundance of tropes already. Is this book a parody?
