Amazing story, a must read!
Many times throughout the book I was moved to tears. I didn’t have a clear picture of the black experience in Canada and this book has definitely provided me with more insight. I loved the blend of learning and storytelling, I finished the book in a matter of days because I truly loved it and wanted to know what happened next. I highly recommend this book, I will be sharing it with my friends and family.

Telling it like it is
A brave recount of challenges overcome. Good for thought when you’re in a tough situation.
