Not to bad

Not to bad, I finished listening after the first book, I just couldnt get into it. It seems far fetched and a lot was unanswered mind you that was just the first book I listened to so maybe it would have gotten better if I kept with it but I didnt want to.

Narration was good. I was please and Travis was easy to listen to.

Generic

No real surprises. The heroes have enough plot armour to stop a nuclear blast. This set of books has the most IRRITATING dwarves of all time. Like nails on a chalkboard!

Kept me entertained!

Good story and well narrated. I didn’t get bored thru the series. Overall another awesome included book.

Thoroughly enjoyed

This was a great, light listen fantasy. It was nice and long (being 3 books)and full of action. I was distracted from my daily activities while listening to it. The only negative was in the last book, at times, they switched so quickly and often between worlds I found myself having to rewind to realize who was doing what! But for the most part I thoroughly enjoyed this 3 book set and, of course had to get the 4th one (with 1 credit)

Decent books worth a listen

I really enjoyed listening to these three books, the story was well done, with some weak plot points and a few times where female characters seemed to be added just for another sexy character to be around the main. all in all, though I did enjoy and would listen/read these again

Entertaining

It was an easy, enjoyable listen, with unexpected surprises, and twists in the story. If you like elves, dragons, and wizards, you’ll probably enjoy the story as much as I did.

The story

The story was great and The one reading the book brought the book to life you could feel their emotions felt like a movie going on in my head listing to this book. definitely would recommend

Good listen; book 3 the best in series

I’m no book snob and I don’t have too discerning a taste when it comes to audio books. I liked this series—it was an exciting plot to follow and the characters were dynamic. Nevermind the cheesy stereotypical cover art. Another listener said they didn’t like book 3…it was my favourite! Went on to download and enjoy #4 in the series.

Fun Adventure

The story is really good and the characters are interesting. I would have assumed most of it would be predictable but happy to say is not. I am a Travis Baldree fan boy and read everything he narrates so I know that fantastic narration will be done and it was. I am worried about Book 4 without Travis and may end at Book 3. I will see what the reviews say. Edit Book 4 is great too.
