About this listen

An unstoppable curse. A dead man displaced from his time. How do you survive the zombie apocalypse when you started it?

Digby Graves, a deceased medieval peasant with delusions of grandeur, is trying to figure out how the hell he ended up in Seattle eight hundred years after his death. Also, why does he have necrotic magic coursing through his zombified body? Added to that is the fact that he made a terrible first impression the moment he woke up by lunging at the first person that came into biting range.

Now, the curse he unleashed is loose in the world. Digby has a target on his back and only fragmented memories of his death. He needs to survive long enough to put the pieces back together, learn what it means to lead the horde, and master his power over the dead. Digby might even find a few accomplices along the way, if he can hold off on eating them.

The end of the world is gonna get weird.

Worth a listen!

It's a good book.

Story is interesting, fun, and doesn't drag on. The voice acting is also fantastic. Overall it's great LitRPG without a massive amount of stats screen dialogue that last for two minutes like other series.

Have had this book in my library for a couple of months but glad I forced myself to listen to all of my audiobook backlogs before spending more money. If you found the sample interesting you'll likely find the book captivating; it's just a well done and enjoyable listen.

Excellent

An excellent non human protagonist story. For the most part I enjoyed it, but there were a couple parts that were a bit too contrived. That is just nitpicking though as it us great overall.
Great performance.

Fantastic, I loved every minute, definitely worth it

This book was awesome, love the MC, love the story, love the magic, but most of all, our living Deity Travis Baldree never fails to deliver. With his perfect performance and this fun story, you really can’t go wrong.

Excellent!

Easily one of the best series. Dude is from 800 years ago so there is no constant comparisons to video games. The class system is standard, and the mutation system is very cool. Digby is very likable for being a prick.
It also doesn't have that Web Novel cadence that so many Litrpgs have. If you've read enough of them you know what I'm talking about. This feels more like a story and less a series of events.
