Publisher's Summary

From Audie Award winning, New York Times best-selling author Kylie Scott comes an irresistible new romance - available in audio first!

When a vicious attack leaves 25-year-old Clementine Johns with no memory, she’s forced to start over. Now she has to figure out who she was and why she made the choices she did - which includes leaving the supposed love of her life, tattoo artist Ed Larsen, only a month before.

Ed can hardly believe it when his ex shows up at his tattoo parlor with no memory of their past, asking about the breakup that nearly destroyed him. The last thing he needs is more heartache, but he can’t seem to let her go again.

Should they walk away for good, or does their love deserve a repeat performance?

A twist to remember

The morals of the story are….

Confront your problems.
Don’t believe everything you hear.
A person can change for the good.

Ok. There is sex and love in this story to, I mean it’s a romance after all.

The plot was not as predictable as most romances. I mean the romance was but not the stuff between. Had me wondering who did it.
Let me tell you I had many guesses and everyone was wrong. I think I’m loosing my touch. LOL.

Andi Arndt was fantastic with all the female and male voice. She is so very talented.

First Kylie Scott book. Well done. Will look for her again.

Such a great second chance romance

Kylie Scott has a way of writing that just sucks you into the story and you can’t stop listening. I loved it! Andi Arndt, was amazing as always. Loved the little twists this book took me on. You won’t regret picking up this book! Kylie is always a one click for me!!

Binged meh

Lack of character development
Story felt rushed to end and rather anti-climactic
But still mostly enjoyed

Internal dialogue

Andi Arendt is so wonderfully skilled at bringing Kylie Scott characters to life off the pages! I feel a bit like a creepy stalker myself in how much I want to be besties with them both and all the fictional persons they flush out! This is only my 3rd reading, in preparation for “Pause”. So excited to hear Lief’s story!!!!

A beautiful secondchance romance

An outstanding tale that brings joy, sadness, hope and forgiveness to the heart with a pinch of mystery and a dash of steam. While recuperating from a terrible attack that leaves her with amnesia, Clementine is slowly trying to get her life back. Ed is her ex, and obviously still angry and hurt and wants nothing to do with her. Clementine is automatically attracted and drawn to Ed. Circumstances and fear for her safety puts her back on Ed's path. I loved the Narrator of this beautiful second chance romance.

Cute!

I normally like Andi Arndt’s narration but I feel like her voice just didn’t fit this character and that was a big throw off for me. It was a good story but I just personally didn’t like the narration for this character.

Where did all these good reviews come from???

I bought this on sale as it had a lot of good reviews. Had it sitting in my library for a while until I felt like I really needed a break from thrillers and mysteries. On to a good, light hearted romance right? No. This was so poorly written I was stunned. Thank god it was so short. I just barely squeaked through it. A lot of the narriation and all of the sex scenes were like listening to Sheldon Cooper from TBBT describing how someone with a concussion would talk and think. Worse part was how to perform fellatio. I could actually hear his voice in my head.

Instead of hot and steamy, I was either laughing my butt off or hiding my face in shame. Not for myself, but for the author for writing it and the narrator having to read it outloud.

Please do yourself a favour and pass on this!

Not for me

Too much explicit sex for my taste. I wish someone had put a warning on this book like they do for TV shows and movies.
I find it easier to skip over 'icky' parts in physical books and e-books - just skip ahead a few pages. Not as easy with an audio book.

Regarding the performance, female voices were good. Male voices were not enjoyable.

Very YA

Not a bad shorter listen, but not overly deep! Fun writing and characters and an interesting take on :)
