About this listen

The international team at the Mars Endeavour colony is prepared for every eventuality except one - what happens when disaster strikes Earth?

Mankind has long dreamed of reaching out to live on other planets, and with the establishment of the Mars Endeavour colony, that dream has become reality. The fledgling colony consists of 120 scientists, astronauts, medical staff, and engineers. Buried deep underground, they're protected from the harsh radiation that sterilizes the surface of the planet. The colony is prepared for every eventuality except one - what happens when disaster strikes Earth?

Political and anti-American

I don’t know if i will finish this book. Im Canadian and i find the rhetoric way too anti-American. Chineses and Russians are portrayed as peaceful and full of wisdom while Americans completely immature.

it is very unfortunate that the author spoils his science fictions with these low blows. It may get better later on but in any case i just dont see any good reason to go there.

After similar condescending comparison with the Chinese wisdoms it is now the Russians who are telling the Americans, like a parent to a child, how they, unlike them, have never known how to accept and recognize defeat!!!

unless there is a drastic turn im returning this book!
