Stella Gunn is the lead singer and lead guitarist of the Blue Moon Gypsies, and Stella used to be Mace’s girl. But Kai “Mace” Mason broke up with her and the loss of him rocked her world. One night, Stella gets a call, late (again), from one of the members of her crazy band. She has to go play clean up (again) and runs into Mace (and a shed load of police) and ends up getting shot. Mace finds he doesn’t like it much that his ex-girlfriend got shot right in front of him, but it’s worse. A very bad man has thrown down the gauntlet, and all the Rock Chicks are in the firing line. Stella doesn’t want Mace to be the one to keep her alive, but she has no choice. Mainly because Mace isn’t giving her one.

About the Creator

Mace & Stella

Probably my favorite Rock Chick book and my favorite Rock Chick couple. Susannah Jones does an amazing job narrating (as always).

The Rocker Chick!

Stella and Mace brought the angst! I have to admit, once we got their back story, I wasn’t a real fan of Mace, he did Stella dirty and that didn’t sit well with me. I know he made up for it, but I’m not ready to completely forgive him yet. The best part of this story, and I did wonder why it was so long, is that we get POV’s from previous Rock Chicks and couples. Loved, loved, loved that part. I was also completely wrapped up in Stella and Mace’s story and how they worked things out and made things come together. They aren’t my favourite couple in the Rock Chick world, but they are definitely an awesome couple in the romance world <3
