Anticlimactic but still an okay listen

Don’t get me wrong I like the characters, well actually I never fully liked the lead female character she was a little whiny but I enjoyed her mates, their families & her ex’s.

The pregnancy was to be expected even with the baby being a hybrid. I was annoyed that they wouldn’t have sex with her well she was pregnant (I’ve had 3 kids, your not dead when you’re pregnant it’s actually very normal to be extra aroused).
There was so much build up to this war she had dreamed of for so long that when it came it was very anticlimactic. How the bad girl got into her room minutes after having the baby when surrounded by so many strong magical people is a plot hole. She’s only 1 vampire!
Then minutes after having a baby & using all her powers and the crystals powers she fights her alone! It was so cringe worthy. Then her mates 1/2 brother basically snapped his fingers killing their other 1/2 brother who seemed so big and bad in the book before… it was just to easy. The ending just didn’t make sense and I kinda felt let down.

But over all the books were fine just nothing amazing

Lots of action. Very nice conclusion.

This last book wrapped things up very well. Truly enjoyed this series. Can't really think of any constructive criticism.

Non stop action, with heart!

An excellent conclusion to this series. I loved the world and loved the characters even more. I wish there had been a bit more after the climax of the book...but I still loved every moment and was thrilled with the series.

note: It is reverse harem/why choose but there is very little spice like maybe a 1. But there is an abundance of love and feelings, that made up for it.

Overall very good listen, I’d read again

Caution ‘spoilers!’
I agree with another reviewer that the story basically came rushing to an end. The much anticipated war that was spoke so much about and the two evils were cleaned up to quick and easily at the end, especially considering how long most elements in the series were dragged out through so many books. I just feel like everything wrapped up in to quick an ending. IMO It really could have been at least one more book wrapping it all up. And come on, there’d been so much sex, then she doesn’t have any sex during all of pregnancy? Ok, Caleb is an aware being. However, right soon after, there really could have been some sex for the mom and mates and would have just made sense as was far overdue and hell, she can heal real fast. And yet, the story suddenly jumps ahead 6 months and she gets a car? That’s great because she missed driving, but didn’t she really miss sex more? Ok, a couple more points I just thought of. The new school deserved more attention. Also, why in the last book was there a narrator added, he did a good job but just curious why. I really thought the rest of the series with just the one narrator was read quite well. There’s more points but I can’t think of them right now, and I feel like I’ve rambled with my bad grammar to much already. Anyhow, I enjoyed the series as a whole. I even chuckled out loud at times and that doesn’t happen to often. However, ending just seemed to be put together so fast, missing some opportunities to make a much better conclusion. Jolee had a big party and got a car and that’s great, but great sex should have been a priority, in my humble opinion. It should have happened first, and then I’d rather have listened to this new family’s experiences with a hybrid baby and his magical powers. Caleb turned into a wolf and had pointy ears, and? Is there another book? That could fix a few things :)
