I really enjoy these lessons, I learn a lot.
repetition is key, they like to throw in things you learned a few seconds ago but sometimes you've already forgotten them. but that's just part of it. it just shows you that you need to repeat the lesson. don't expect to take the lesson only once and remember it all. sometimes I repeat lessons multiple times at least twice, I find usually the last lesson in the five lesson segments is the easiest for some reason. maybe that's just a coincidence. overall though I really enjoy these courses and just be patient, take your time, if you find it's too easy then you'll just fly through, if you find it challenging then I think that's perfect for you. as long as it's not too challenging. and if you have questions about something maybe find a friend online who speaks Russian and they can explain things to you. I think on the very first section of the entire level one they say not to write things down or look things up or anything like that but sometimes I really have to look in Google translate for the proper spelling of something to know how to pronounce it properly because sometimes I've had it where they pronounce words oddly or I'm not really sure how the ending is actually being pronounced. Google translate helps me clarify this and double checking with a friend.

It is too basic and way too slow. I think it is totally not worth the money.
