A Heart-Pounding Continuation

Sadie Kincaid continues to deliver the heat and intensity in *Ryan Redemption*, the second book in the New York Ruthless series. As expected, this installment ends on yet another cliffhanger, propelling us into an emotional roller-coaster right from where the first book left off. Jessie is still as strong and bold as ever, but this time, she's faced with some hard realizations and even tougher decisions. Watching her character evolve through these challenges was both heartbreaking and empowering.
Conor takes center stage in this book, and let me just say, I am completely smitten. While he dominates the storyline, leaving his brothers in the background, I didn’t mind at all. His character development was captivating, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with him more with each chapter. Although I enjoyed Shane and Jessie’s dynamic in the first book, Shane’s actions here left me torn and frustrated. He infuriates me to the point of tears!
This book didn’t give us much insight into the twins, and I’m eagerly anticipating more exploration of their individual personalities in the upcoming installments. I’m hoping for deeper character development there.
The story is intense, with Jessie navigating a world of danger, betrayal, and secrets that threaten to overwhelm her. As she runs from her past and struggles to determine who she can trust, the stakes only get higher. Kincaid keeps the tension tight, and the dark romance aspect is handled with an addictive blend of passion and suspense.
Overall, *Ryan Redemption* is a gripping continuation of a series that doesn’t hold back on emotions, and I can’t wait to dive into the next book. However, be prepared for some heartache along the way—this ride is far from over.
