Publisher's Summary
Caroline Abbott loves her job - helping engaged couples pick out the perfect save-the-date cards and invitations for their dream wedding. Working at Noteworthy means she has to deal with the occasional bridezilla, but Caroline’s always up for the challenge.
Until one particular bridezilla walks into the stationery store whose fiancé happens to be the boy Caroline shared her first kiss with. Alexander Wilder is all grown up now, helping run his family’s successful luxury hotel chain, and is somehow even better looking than she remembers.
When Caroline just happens to catch Alex’s fiancée half naked with another man, well, of course she has to tell Alex. Of course, he breaks off his engagement. And of course, the ex-bridezilla has gone completely bonkers.
At least Caroline has her friends to save her from crazy ex-fiancées. But she also has the sudden interest of...Alex? Caroline knows they share a connection, but is he on the rebound? Or after seeing her all these years later, does he really want something more?

Romance?
I was expecting a cute little “harlequin “ type listen, and for the most part that was what I got. Except for a couple of graphic sex scenes which were absolutely unexpected and absolutely uncalled for.

Inconsistent characters and flimsy plot development
The characters were all over the place with their motivations. Multiple friends gave advice and then almost immediately contradicted their own advice. Male lead does background check on clients but brings a fake fiancé just weeks after he broke up with his real fiancé and is shocked they get discovered by his own online information. Male lead is inconsiderate because he’s focused on work. Realizes he needs someone who will challenge him unlike his cheating ex-fiancé. Proceeds to fall in love with Female lead because she’s so easy-going. And she never once tells him to stop working so much. It made no sense to set that up as something he needs to work on and then just drop it. Read Annika Martin’s The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancé instead.

I really enjoyed this one!
It was the perfect combination of a billionaire, childhood friends, fake marriage, forced proximity, one bed and romcom.
The story just flowed so well. I was engaged by the first chapter, which I find hard sometimes especially with audiobooks. Really liked the narrators, they did a great job at bringing the humor.

Annoying narrators
Narrators were so annoying and whiny. Couldn’t focus on the story at all and made me hate the characters because of how whiny they seemed.

It’s ok
The sex scene was so long I ended up fast forwarding to get on with the story.

Wouldn't want to date either of 'em
I listened to the end while doing chores and there were some amusing parts. However, the male lead had no redeeming qualities that we were told about other than being overly generous. He treated his initial fiance poorly and the current one poorly and she turns around and blames herself for him being a jerk.
The female lead was very basic. She was the nicer of the two but didn't have a lot going on.
So overall not terrible writing or anything but I dislike romance where the guy is an aloof jerk flashing his money and that's presented as appealing.

Wouldn’t recommend
Didn’t like main character and petty girl on girl drama. If it remains free then sure but not one I would pay for.
