About this listen

I'm the lost princess of Howling Sky. Only a few days ago, I would have said that was crazy, that I'm just Sorissa. Now, I'm living crazy. Everybody wants to use me for their own gain in the Prime War. Except for Phantom Fangs, my werewolves.

I left with vampires to save their lives. Maybe the vampires intend to kill me, but I'm not that fragile. I'll survive, and I'll keep my werewolves safe.

Contains mature themes.

A bit predictable

Like book one the narration could have been better.
More time spent character building with the MMC’s as it was lacking in book one.
Disappointed this book didn’t explore vampire culture more as book one ended with the lead in for that in book two. It just skimmed it a bit.
Overall this story was ok. Unlike book one it is much more predictable.
I’m on the fence whether this is credit worthy.

The story is better, but narrators still not the best fit

Reaching book two means you really enjoyed book one, but I still rate what I read. Story got better and there's some foreshadowing of some really spicy scenes. But it's still just okay. Even though the last book of the trilogy is available, I feel a break from this world is necessary. At least for something a little more modern.

😑 Also, WHY is it necessary for her to wear a binder just because she wears guys' clothes. Everyone knows she's a woman. She passes on the corsets for the dresses, so why is a stupid binder necessary with pants.

I've even read a manhwa (Korean manga) where a noble woman decides to dress wear pants instead of dresses and forgoes the stupid constricting undergarment.
