The Coven's adventures in Vermenia created a ripple they could not predict long after Joanna and her men returned safely home to Canderfey. The university now has visitors: the hidden Scrivens community, refugees running from their own government. Listening to one after the other. Great books! Lots happens and of course it ends on a cliffhanger. Amazing narrators.

I’m really not a fan of political storylines in my fantasy books there’s enough depressing political stuff going on in the real world right now.

This book was a lot about refugees and people’s prejudice against them again this was so depressing. With the way the real world treats refugees and people’s prejudices against them I just found this so depressing!

I prefer my fantasy books to be an escape from the real world and the last to books just didn’t do that. At least the smut in this book great it makes up for the story.

This book ends on a cliffhanger and it seems more exciting as we get a glimpse of creepy magical creatures that we will see in the next book!

The story was okay, the smut was amazing 🤩
