When Terrance Campbell, a divorce lawyer in Chicago, dies at 53 of a heart attack, the last thing he expects is to wake up in the body of his ex-girlfriend Edee Prescott, 20 years in the past. Not only should this be impossible, but Edee died in a car crash all those years ago — except now everyone is saying that Terrance is the one who died, and Terrance is Edee!
Terrance now finds himself thrust into the bizarrely familiar life of his former sweetheart, working as an elementary teacher and sharing a house with Edee’s pal, Lana.
