About this listen
P. T. Saunders is a veteran of two wars who also served with the Parachute Regiment and the Special Air Service. Due to his service, Paul now suffers from complex PTSD.
Having experienced a particularly traumatic episode in 2011, where he attempted to take his own life on several occasions, medics recommended that he needed to be hospitalized for several weeks in order to keep himself safe. It was whilst in hospital that his psychiatrist recommended Paul to write his thoughts down as a form of self-help therapy.
Paul took his advice and wrote his first autobiography, Cupboard Boy. But instead of just locking the book away, Paul decided to self-publish his book. It was the success of this book that inspired Paul to continue writing and exploring different genres. Left Behind: Seeking Revenge is his first fiction book.
A pause-resisting fiction debut in the tradition of Andy McNab, Bravo Two Zero, and Chris Ryan's Head Hunters, Seeking Revenge is a psychological thriller that is packed with twist and turns and offers a glimpse into the darker side of the armed forces and policing out of the public gaze by someone who knows. Written cleverly and in short chapters, you’ll struggle to stop listening to the audiobook until you finish listening to it.
When a bilateral government order to assassinate a couple prominent Afghan elders goes spectacularly tits up, three of the six-man mercenary team are killed, two escape, and on an ex-SAS trooper, Alex Langdan is captured and held hostage by the Taliban.
Now, three years on, Alex has finally gained his freedom along with a new identity. Now, he is hell-bent on seeking revenge on those that broke the unwritten rule “never leave a man behind".
