About this listen
Build confidence and assertiveness in your professional and social life starting today!
Are you tired of riding an emotional rollercoaster, ping-ponging between days when you feel good about your body image, your social life, and your career prospects, and days where it all slips away?
Do you struggle during social situations to find the words to express yourself without getting aggressive or apologetic?
Do you watch the men at your workplace get promoted, get better assignments, and receive pay increases, even though you know that your skills and performance are just as good, if not better?
You’re in good company. American Psychological Association research indicates that the self-esteem gender gap is actually larger in Western countries than it is in other parts of the world.
More worrying still, while our social and professional lives are more and more defined by digital media, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the digital world is still largely a male-space.
It’s not rocket science. You don’t need to buy into the self-help industry that siphons your time, money, and energy on expensive and often condescending life coaches and therapy sessions.
All you need are straightforward, personalizable exercises that will help you to build up your self-esteem, confidence, boundary-setting, and communication skills, a little bit every day.
In Self-Esteem for Women, here is just a fraction of what you will discover:
- 4 self-diagnostic tools to help you understand your personal struggles with self-esteem, assertiveness, body image, and emotional intelligence
- The “Cleopatra Approach” to starting and maintaining interesting conversation at social events
- How to create healthy boundaries and say “no” without feeling guilty
- The warning signs indicating that you need to set boundaries with friends, family, colleagues, or loved ones now in order to survive the relationship
- Your “Assertive Bill of Rights” and how to defend it with 5 techniques you can start using today
- The 3 disagreement strategies that Hillary Clinton uses to win debates
- Simple rituals for building self-esteem and confidence in under 20 minutes a day
- How to dramatically increase positive body-image and decrease dependence on social media by taking a selfie
- The 4 myths of assertiveness that keep you from standing up for yourself in the workplace and getting a pay raise
- The “Let It Rain” method for effectively managing your triggers before you lose control in public or in the workplace
- The telltale give-away: how to know when you’re losing someone’s interest during a conversation
- The innovative strategy to build emotional intelligence that is statistically proven to make you more hireable
- And much more.
What the critics say
"A powerful book for all areas of life, this should be essential reading for all women during these crazy times!" (Sophie Amorand, businesswoman and writer)
"The most effective book we have read in years." (Women Today Magazine, Sydney)

Incredible book
I have no hesitations at all to recommend this book to all women. I have, for most of my life, suffered with self esteem / shyness / confidence issues. I found the methods and advice here very realistic (which made a change from other books) and more importantly...most of it worked!
One month later and I hate to sound too cheesy but I genuinely feel like I have had a but of a rebirth.
I don't usually leave reviews but I felt compelled this time.
