not a fake review

We are not all the same when it comes to our needs and expectations to be guided through an exercise whose purpose is to relax and program us subconsciously to relax etc. It is all very personal and it would be futile to expect a 'one size fits all'. Same with voice technique etc. . Some work well visualizing, others struggle. Some tense and cringe at certain sounds and tones while and others don't. The whole point of visualizing is to let go and not force it let it be that's where the magic happens. We are all free to make our own decisions. But here's my reaction after listening to the first chapter:

Love the voice and the imagery. The reader's voice is soothing, applies the perfect tone and pace which was maintained throughout (not easy to do). Her voice and use of it provided me with a feeling of safety, comfort and peace, which enabled me to begin to automatically, and naturally let go. She reads at a certain pace that is not rushed or that lulls one into boredom due to lack of focus. Rather, I was lulled just by the voice and the pace which allowed me to savour and visualize the imagery before another image was integrated. It works for me on all levels. I fell asleep during the first because I calmed down within 10 minutes or less. I look forward to the subsequent chapters. Again (in bold) ..... this is not a fake review.

Not true self hypnosis

Too much imagery to be considered hypnosis, typically hypnosis is more about affirmations. The narrators voice is very calming though. The sounds also could be a little less distracting. I prefer more of a white noise kind of sound as I’m drifting off rather than bells and stuff. I think some of the reviews may be fake too...
