I really liked book 1 but sadly book 2 there was almost zero romance between her and the fae they seemed cooler to one another & everyone seemed to be blackmailing her

Good but not as good as book 1

The first book of the series was lighthearted and kind of fun, so yah, made sense to listen to the second book. Unfortunately, this follow-up offered little substance, zero romance and a protagonist I ended up strongly disliking. She was petulant, immature and whiney throughout; hence the skilled narrator’s delivery was exactly that and I struggled to finish. The reviews for book 3 look promising, but I won’t be listening.
