Publisher's Summary

A haunting hair-raiser resurrected with a NEW recording and NEW narrator.

“His prose mesmerizes…Koontz consistently hits the bull’s-eye.” –Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

Rachel's request for a quick and clean divorce enraged her husband. She’d never seen Eric so angry, so consumed by pure and terrifying hatred. Then, in the heat of the moment, Eric was killed in a traffic accident. Shocked and relieved, Rachel had nothing left to fear. Until Eric's body disappeared from the morgue—and suddenly, Rachel is being stalked by someone who looks just like her dead husband.

Not my favourite

I love Dean Koontz and have read almost everything he has written. This was not my favourite. It feels like it was rushed and a bit too “paint by numbers”. The ending was almost anticlimactic.

Evil scientist; evil government; evil government agencies - yawn!!!!

Sci-fi novel too far fetched for me.

Very long descriptive passages caused a slow lag in novel.
Plot was not believable for me.

The worst book I have ever read or listen to.

This book was so far-fetched and unrealistic that it failed horribly as a horror. I have read a lot of books, and I have a pretty good vocabulary. There are words in this book that were so advanced and unnecessary for the type and level of book that this is. I had to stop and Google their meaning before I could possibly continue.

Disappointed

Reminded me why I stopped reading Koontz. His books are too wordy. Didn’t realize it took pages and pages to describe ones day and how they are feeling. Too drawn out and narrator made it even worse
