An Excellent short interview of Spin Legend Shane
Audible presents a great opportunity for the members to listen to this excellent interview of SHANE WARNE - the best and magical spinner of all times in the history of the cricketing world - who is credited with delivering "the ball of the century".
In terms of the raw number of wickets Shane Warne is second to only Muralitharan of Srilanka.
Shane Warne has foxed over 1,000 batsmen in Test matches and Limited Overs cricket (ODIs) without even counting his short stint in T20 international where he took 70 wickets.
Test wickets: 708 and ODIs: 293. Total of 1001.
Warne was also a fantastic leader. He captained Australia for a short stint and created a history by lifting the first IPL as a captain playing the dual role of a coach for Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural edition of IPL in the year 2008. In the process, he was able to beat Chennai Super Kings' led by India's most successful cricket captain till date - Dhoni.
The best of Warne's contribution to society is perhaps still to happen. Recently Warne raised over AU$ 1 Million - by auctioning his baggy green cap - and donated to Australia's bushfire crisis.
