The Sanctorum has returned to the island, and if they find her, they'll kill her. And anyone that tries to protect her.
This includes her best friend, Skye. He was the boy that saved her. The man she knew she could never have. And when he refuses to let her go, their actions might hold the power to reshape the world.
An ancient evil is rising, and in order to protect those that she cares for, Taly will have to sacrifice everything.

Surprisingly awesome!
I very much enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and plot and pacing. Also the sweet slow burn :) This book also kept surprising me, which is enjoyable. And the performance by Elizabeth Evans was engaging and as wonderful as always. Highly recommend!!!

Not just tropes
The story was so well written! Interesting and full of well developed characters, characters who manifest maturity and emotion, intelligence and creativity. Loved it

This was fantastic!
I loved every moment of this book. I have nothing to nit pick about! The romance was adorable and the plot was strong and unique. Can’t wait to start book 2!

Amazing!

Great listening
Really nice surprise this book with unique story. I just felt like it took half of the book for action to pick up and best friends to lover story I’m not so sure too. Loved it overall and I will listen to book 2!

Great Story and Great Listen
Absolutely loved listening to this book. I actually had to stop for a bit when I realized that the next book wouldn't be out until April 2020. Now it's done so I happily finished listening to the last hour and a half.

Sooo well written!
Absolutely one of my favourite books. I love the narrator as well. I will listen to anything she narrates. I am so glad I found this author. Read this book!

Unique and captivating!
This story hooked me from the beginning. I love the unique concept and characters. It isn't overly angsty which helps with the flow and keeps the story going. The narrator does a great job. Can't wait to start the second book!
