About this listen
Brett—the quiet loner. Content with life in his small town and a job he loves—except for the one thorn in his side.
Kelly—the world traveler that pops in and out of his life, taking a small piece of his heart with him every time. Until the day she comes back, broken and adrift.
Can he show her there is more to life than bright lights and endless wandering? Could his heart be enough to finally tame the restless need to run? Or will she break his heart all over again and leave?
Author's Note: A found family story that can help make the heart heal. Book three of Reynolds Restoration.

Shifting Gears
(Reynolds Restoration Book 3)
by Melanie Moreland
Narrators: John Lane & Maxine Mitchell
Let’s start of with honesty; Melanie Moreland has been one of my go to authors for some time. What draws me to each book is her way of making the characters in seem like they are your next-door neighbors. You become a part of her story families, you become involved, and you worry, you laugh, you cry with her characters. They become a part of you. Her Reynolds Restoration series though, beyond perfect with the right amount of angst, the perfect blend of love and the wit and humor of this story, as I said ~ beyond perfect.
Add in the voices of John Lane (truth, I can listen to this man for days on end) and Maxine Mitchell and you have an audio book totally designed for eargazims…yes your read that right. If you didn’t love Moreland’s characters already, then John and Maxine make sure you love them all by the end. When it comes to humor though, it was like she got my sense of humor and hearing lines from Theo “I heard some weird noises but didn’t see any one.” ~ “Maybe it was a bear. ~ “Maybe a raccoon.” as well as these from Charlie “Did you get roughed up in the slammer? Become anyone’s bitch?” and “Don’t make me wish you were back in the big house, Brett.” had tears rolling down my cheeks as I laughed and laughed.
I know when I read/listen to a Melanie Moreland book I’m getting the best of everything, writing, story, characters, narrators and at the end of each book I know my time reading/listening has given me that chance to add some new friends, often visit with old friends and enjoy the experience.
