About this listen

Wide-eyed and innocent, you stumbled into my world, never knowing the danger that lurked within. The Wolfe’s Den is no place for a little lamb, but you came anyway, and from the moment you stepped inside, you were mine.

In my life there are no happy accidents. Every move is carefully orchestrated. Every situation premeditated. That’s what makes the hunt so intoxicating. What you need, I become. What you crave, I will give. Except the one thing you desire above all else - love.

Everything I told you is true - I’m not a good man, but you choose what you want to hear. You shouldn’t have come that night. Maybe then you’d be safe. But it’s too late now. I want you because you remind me of him. I need you to give me back what I lost.

Warning: This is not a love story. It is not a romance. This is an obsessive stalker lust story that contains darker themes that may serve as a trigger to some readers. Shiver is a standalone novel.

Beware the cliffhanger ending!

* This is a standalone though I can't believe there's no book 2 and there won't be the writters say. I hear the same from everyone. It has that kind of ending so be prepared to be frustrated lol.

* Warning this is not a romance. Abort if u want the cute hea. This is a straight up obsessive Stalker book with some heat thrown in there when the "poor little lamb Jesse" doesn't realize his mysterious man is on the hunt. And yes there is lots of that talk in this book. Lamb/wolf, hunter/prey.

"The little lamb was mine now, and really, I had warned him. He should be afraid of the big, bad Wolfe". Salvadore thinking to himself.

I went into this book thinking what am I getting myself into. Kind of how Jesse is in the beginning of this book so right away I could relate. Dark romance is ominous to begin with but then I'd also heard peoples comments about it, so I was like 🙉

What Jesse thinks is just some innocent comments from a dom personality that he finds sexy at the time, are actually the threats of a seriously messed up stalker.

I found this book to be that built up suspense where u want to warn the Mc but at the same time the sexy parts make u just think proceed. 😀

Now in the end I got to say I did enjoy this book. It had a 50 shades feel to it but with a stalker/gay twist. (Poor shy boy meets powerful rich guy that can do whatever he wants and who happens to be into to kink). I didnt find it as bad as people warned. Considering other than the stalking aside Salvador did respect his little lambs safeword. I truly believe that if he would of just been honest with Jesse that they could of had something.

*other warning theres a "play rape type" scene. Done with a safeword but might bother some folks

As for the narration. This was my first time hearing Biff but he did a great job. He kept my interest with an easy flow and differentiated the voices. I could hear the timid emotion in Jesses voice.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
