Publisher's Summary

New York Times best-selling author Julia Kent continues her Shopping for a Billionaire series as mystery shopper Shannon and (near) billionaire Declan explore a relationship (and each other).

The pair deal with a jealous ex-boyfriend, a new perk at work that makes Shannon rethink her job, and a cat that offers up quite a present when Declan takes Shannon out for their first non-business date.

Better than the first

I must’ve been in the mood for Shannon and Declan because, after book one’s disappointment, I found that I actually enjoyed the slice of life that was Shopping for a Billionaire two. While it isn't a novel of epic proportions, I found that this sequel was a quick and quirky read/listen with Tanya Eby doing a great job narrating the story. I have to admit that I giggled when it came to the company cars.

However, while I enjoyed the novella, my biggest complaint was Shannon’s overbearing, sex-obsessed mother; I found her incredibly annoying to read about and often wished that she would go away.

Overall, I had a fun time listening to Shopping for a Billionaire two; it was obvious that Julia Kent's writing ability had improved since the first book. I look forward to the next installment.
