Publisher's Summary

A sacrifice made. A Primordial defeated. The hard part starts now.

Felix had risked everything to stop the threat of the Unending Maw. Except instead of death, he and his Companion Pit were transported to the deadly Void, a place far worse than the Foglands. The Maw is there with them, bonded somehow to Felix in a way none of them understand, but all of them hate.

The three must navigate the desolate expanse of the dark Void, contending with voidbeasts, marauders, and the creeping influence of the Maw itself. It will take everything that Felix has—and more—merely to survive, let alone escape.

All choices have consequences.

Enjoyed some of it.

I enjoy the story and the protagonist. How they will further develop the supporting characters more.
I did not like the location of this book, it was very boring in the void.
Hoping for more in the next book.

Very well done!

Very much enjoyed the second book! Definitely would listen to it again, had a good build up and enough action within in, can’t wait to care on with the series!

setting it up

excellent job setting up whatever is coming next, some moments that dragged on but you can't help that sometimes.

Good but short

Was much shorter than first book so when it came to an end I was surprised that was it. Rushed through many interactions but lingered on others that weren’t needed. Feel it could have been handled better and the climax needed to be expanded on. However it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Filler and cardboard

This book reminded me of a report I did in grade 5, one in which I was unfamiliar with the topic. Travis did what he does, but this was cellulose and packing peanuts

Worthless

This book added nothing and was not worth the credit. I come back from reading the third book to tell you that i could have enjoyed that just as much without knowing anything from this one. Do yourself a favor and read a summary of the story from somewhere and just go get the third. That is if you havent been soured by this story allready. For perspective if the first book was a B and the third a A- then this book is a C- at best.

Shorter audiobook, felt like a longer listen

I find this one a bit different. Pacing is slow, low impact story. Finishing Silence felt more of a chore eventually.

Waste of a 2nd book. The void is uninteresting.

I was not a fan of the void at all - and it takes up the whole book. Good enough for me to get to the 3rd book (only 2 hours in, and already better than all of book 2) but there's enough detail in book 2 that I beared with it just because book 1 was good enough and book 3 has exactly what i've been waiting for.
