About this listen
At the crux of all addictions is a quest to narrow focus and relieve stress.
Sipping Fear shows you how the catecholamines responsible for desire and fear always act together. Desire is by its very nature a form of fear (like FOMO: fear of missing out). This is what narrows focus and provides temporary stress relief.
Sipping Fear Pissing Confidence reveals how using the catecholamines to relieve stress unavoidably displaces confidence. Hence, the audiobook's title.
Christopher K Wallace is a behavioural science trained counsellor focusing on mental fitness as the advisor to men. With a "colorful past" referenced only in support of the listener, he uses his decades of personal and practical experience to help men reclaim their power to find meaning and freedom. All the men he works with around addictions have resolved their addictions in short order. You can too!

Very Impactful and Inspiring.
The perspective in this book is very eye opening and has made me realize the things I am doing that I thought have little negative impact, are in fact the things that are keeping me from progressing in life. After listening to this, brushing off my negative thoughts and habits and labeling them as insignificant will be very difficult if not impossible. Death of a thousand cuts as I like to call it. No more. Highly recommend this audio book. Thank you Mr. Wallace.
