Publisher's Summary
A wonderful story of adventure through the different spheres of life by Scottish author George MacDonald.
Listeners will fall in love with this "Christ-like" character, Gibbie, who is a mute, yet truly good in heart and in deed. A uniquely creative tale that will capture both the old and the young for ages to come.
Though a fiction book, it has the potential of expressing life lessons in a most enjoyable way.
May you be blessed as you travel with Sir Gibbie in this tale!

I absolutely love this story, it might be my favourite by George MacDonald! The narrator was so fun to listen to! The accents were just perfect!

Incredible, must read
I am a growing fan of George MacDonald and have read several other of his more popular works. Sir Gibbie started out a little slow and was difficult to understand given the brogue dialect of the dialogue, however, I have grown to absolutely love this book. An incredible analogy of Christ's selflessness towards us and Gods love for His children. This is truly poetic prose that is such a pleasure to listen to. I simply cannot recommend highly enough this book

The making of a Godly man
This story should be read by all young men, the hardships and way the Gibby overcomes then by his simple ways is inspiring even to a older man. I believe George MacDonald has captured the essence of becoming a godly man.
