I prefered the mixture of adventures of the first book but a long consistent story was a nice change of pace. 10/10 would strongly recommend.

Excellent novel, in-depth characters, William King writes excellent books and Johnathan Keeble does an excellent job bringing it to life.

I love the Skaven, such an original and iconic race of creatures and caste system.
I’m loving the series and already bought the next 10.
The narrator is top notch right next to Katherine Kellgren who did the Bloody Jack Series (a top favorite book series) and Roy Dotrice who narrated Game of thrones.

Jonathan Keeble could narrate just about anything and make it enthralling. Skaven POV is hilarious as well, very well written.

My first WH Fantasy novel, I don’t believe I can reach this peak again. The narration, the gloomy introduction in the sewers, everything about it scratched my itch. Skavenslayer is a fun & fast-paced novel that really captures the gritty feel of the setting, and Skaven clans. Gotrek and Felix make an amazing duo, and the Skaven are both creepy and entertaining villains, fleshing out these rats was done perfectly. The story keeps things moving with plenty of action while still building the world naturally. It’s an enjoyable read and a solid choice for anyone looking to get into the Warhammer Fantasy books.
