This is the key to freedom

Once again Allen Carr has made my life better. I’ve tried unsuccessfully so many times to rid myself of my social media addiction, as it turns out all I needed was this book. Straightforward and simple, if you follow this book step by step, you can be free. I’m so grateful for finding this author and this book, it was all I needed all along.

Changed my relationship with technology

As a lifelong tech addict, I tried this book based on the recommendation of a friend. It worked! After reading it I have a new relationship with my tech. I see my phone and laptop as tools and am free from endless browsing. went from 6+ hours of screentime to less than 20 mins daily.

force fit

it felt like this was the script for other Allen Carr books overlaid on to the issue of digital addiction. While i got some good insight into fighting addiction in general, the sentences in the book felt like they were straight out of an anti-smoking book but with some weird advice about digital addiction thrown in. (like deleting facebook friends and junk apps.) It was long, it was boring. I’ll give it some merit for the info about fighting addiction in general but this was a bad read. needs an overhaul to be more relevant to this specific issue
